It uses a Spruce top with the sides made from Laminated Maple, the fret board is Rosewood that uses inlaid dots for fret orientation. There's a "Trapeze" style tail piece whilst the floating bridge is made from Rosewood just like the 22 fret fretboard, all hardware is Nickel plated and it also sports two Hofner Diamond humbucking pick-ups. The cosmetics of this instrument use a Pearloid scratchplate and control panel whilst the body is bound at the edges, the machine heads are Hofners own nickel plated die-cast models and the headstock has an ornate floral design embossed upon it adjacent to the truss-rod cover that bears the name of the instrument ..
